I see you have a lot to learn about slavery. No, it was not the parents who sold their children into slavery. It was the white man who went to Aftrica on a boat, and bought back the slaves from the whites in Africia. Did you know there where whites that lived in Africa? They not only bought them for a fraction of the cost, but when they came to America on the ship, were sold for anymore money. So, I still am not going to be made at my grandfather, who was a slave, not by choice. When the slaves were bought, they were used from picking cotton to breast feeding children not even theirs; not to mention how the whites would lay with the women. The white/black issue did not just start 10 years ago, it has been going on for the past 200 years. A white man would take a black woman and have sex with her, and the wife knew about it. I don't know how old you are, get your facts straight about slavery. Yes, slaves were freed, but at what price. Even once freed, they still had to overcome obstacles in order to raise their family. I am proud of my grandfather, who came to America, on a boat. Everyone has an image that blacks can only do wrong, but in the same breath, they over look the whites that have done wrong. The slaves did not ask to be bough over here and sold, not to mention beaten when they tried to escape. We all have done wrong within time, we should accept responsibilty instead of playing the blame game not the color game.
you sound like you should be going south, stupid!!!
